Munay-Ki, my forthcoming photobook, is planned for release on November 11, 2026. Drawn from my 2026 journey through Peru, it brings together photographs made among the streets of Cusco, the mountains of Ausangate, and the people who welcomed me along the way. Working largely with film, I followed moments of daily life, ceremony, and quiet encounter.

At the heart of this book is my experience learning from Q’ero elders Don Pascual Apaza Flores and Doña Santusa, alongside their son, Jose Luis Apaza Quispe. Their relationship with the mountains, the earth, and one another invited me to consider how I move through the world. The photographs reflect what I witnessed and what those encounters asked me to pay attention to: care, reciprocity, and the relationship between people and the land.

My intention is to offer a book you can spend time with, returning to its photographs and finding something you hadn’t noticed before. It carries my gratitude for the people who shared their time and traditions with me, and my desire to bring these stories into a form that can be held and shared. More details, previews, and release announcements will follow here and through Photo Pilgrimage as November 11 approaches.
