“Cuenca Market Side-quest, 2025” shows a vibrant corner of an indoor market, rendered with the warm, slightly grainy character of Kodak Colorplus 200. Stacked wooden crates overflow with produce: glossy red and green apples, yellow lemons, oranges, plantains, onions, and other fruits and vegetables arranged in dense, improvised tiers.
Two women anchor the scene in the upper half of the frame. One, partially hidden in shadow to the left, looks out from behind piles of fruit. The other sits to the right, focused on reading a newspaper, framed by a column and the surrounding stacks of produce. The light is soft and dim, filtering in from above, so the colors of the fruit seem to glow against the darker interior of the stall.
The photograph itself is printed with a generous white border, the title and location subtly printed along the bottom edge, and the artist’s signature in the lower right, presenting the everyday bustle of the Cuenca market as a carefully framed, tactile art subject.
Photo finish: Legacy Etching is a pure white 100% cotton fibre paper with a textured matte finish. This paper simulates the touch and feel of old-world artist etching pads and handmade paper, but with the advantage of current technological improvements. It has an industry-leading microporous inkjet receptive layer that produces deep, rich blacks (Dmax), expanded color gamut, and gentle tonal gradations, and will provide outstanding image permanence and durability.
This print ships within one week of the order date.

Hello world, in this life, I walk with a camera in hand as a tool and form of creative expression. When I was younger, I would hear doubts about how anyone could sustain a living through photography. I’ve learned that the world has more stories than it wants to tell. In the last 15 years of placing all my focus on studying and working in this medium, I can say confidently that everything needs visual representation in a modern world. Through capturing light, doors continue to open, giving more and more meaning to my life. I share these words and lean completely forward to one of my biggest dreams, putting my work out there in the physical form of a print. Your support during this time goes a long way. I am simply an instrument of our creator, telling a story through observation. I appreciate all your support and engagement as I set the intention to get more of my work out into our world.
